ARCHIPELAGO
The story behind the print
Our newest wallpaper collection, ARCHIPELAGO, is a graceful geometric print, featuring oversized shapes. All our wallpapers start with a painting. These monochromatic prints were painted using acrylic on vellum paper. The glassy surface of the velum allowed for the paint to gently glide, revealing beautifully smooth paint strokes that translate perfectly when printed on grasscloth.
Inspired by nature, we chose to shoot these wallpapers in iconic national parks including Saguaro, White Sands and Guadalupe Mountains National Park. Archipelago was designed to transport the viewer into a serene landscape–where shapes are playful, and colors tell a story of enchanted lands.
This dreamy design is printed onto our popular Eco Luxe Grasscloth for subtle texture and a luxurious sheen. The repeat is 9ft high and 99" wide, allowing the eye to get lost in the shapes, making this a stunning mural.
