RIVIERA
The story behind the print
I created Riviera with nostalgia for the South of France in mind: ripe apricots at the market, weathered colorful houses, natural creeks with the bluest of waters. The line work is drawn freehand with marker, allowing the ink to organically puddle where it wishes. The result is a work that has movement despite its static nature.
The collection features one design offered in three colorways. Acqua is a blend of blue greens inspired by the Mediterranean, Raffia plays with shades of ochre, and Apricot with soft terracottas. Originally printed on our natural grasscloth, Riviera is a mural of hand-drawn lines drifting across the paper.
